Sheese Nominated for Brand New Award
January 22, 2020The quality of our newest Sheese variety, Cheddar Style with Garlic and Chives, has been recognised and has been nominated for an award in the brand new award as part of the Plant Powered Excellence Awards. In the category of Plant Powered Food - Essentials, our Sheese faces some stiff competition - but as the awards are down to your vote, we are confident that we can win!
The Plant Powered Excellence Awards make their debut at the upcoming Plant Powered Expo on Feb 1-2 at Olympia National, showcasing some of the latest and best plant-based products and initiatives in the plant-based scene in the UK. And, of course, Bute Island Foods is a major sponsor of the event.
The Awards consist of altogether 5 categories, with products ranging from food to lifestyle, alongside some of the most influential projects promoting the virtues of plant-based living.
The organisers are excited by the prospect of the awards, announcing, "œWelcome to the Plant Powered Excellence Awards 2020 - an opportunity for you to vote for some of the best new products, initiatives and innovations coming into the plant based marketplace. There are 5 categories to vote in - Innovation, Sweets and Snacks, Essentials, Lifestyle and Initiative. All our nominees are highly achieving in the plant based world, and in that sense we are all winners - but the public vote will determine the winners of each category, to be announced at Plant Powered Expo on Sunday February 2nd 2020. "
